Men's Fellowship

Men’s Fellowship nights [once a month on a Tuesday at 7pm] are informal relaxed evenings with the added bonus of a Chinese meal.

The purpose of the Men’s Fellowship is to reach men for Christ through testimony.

Many Christian men, from various churches, have demonstrated a strong desire for fellowship and teaching focussed on male issues and needs. We would love you to join us for a Chinese meal followed by worship and teaching. Meals need to be ordered and paid for no later than the Sunday preceding the monthly Tuesday fellowship night.

Whatever your need, wherever you are from, Trinity Men’s Fellowship offers you a very warm welcome in Jesus’ Name. Do come along. Be encouraged and sharpened.

My name is Matthew and I have been a Christian for twelve years. I have a passion to see Christian men grow, not only in Christ, but also through fellowship with each other.

“As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
Proverbs 27:17 NKJV

As men we sometimes forget that we need to off load, especially in these days, where many Christian men have lost their position as head of the household. A man is not to Lord it over his spouse, but is to encourage and build up those in his family. I believe ‘now is the day’ for men to become mighty men of God.

Neville was born in Essex and is never shy about letting anyone know about it. He is married to Nora, who has lived most of her life in Newport, which is where they and their children and grandchildren live.

A groundsman/gardener by trade Neville has spent over twenty five years working in housing and has been an attender and member of Trinity for over ten years. Neville comes from a churchgoing background and was saved in 1986 after spending time trying to do things his own way, somewhat unsuccessfully.

He is passionate about the gospel being presented in a straightforward and easy to understand way that is relevant and applicable to real life situations. Despite his Southend roots Neville enjoys Saturday afternoons watching Newport County, and is a keen follower of Motorsport.

In his travels with work and training Neville states that Trinity is the most complete church he has been a part of, enjoying the healthy balance of the good stuff from the old alongside the new, with a clear focus on biblical truth, prayer and praise.
